St Matthew Athletic Center

Thank you for your interest in the St. Matthew Athletic Center. Due to our commitments to our parish school and CYO organization, we do not rent the St. Matthew Athletic Center during the academic year. 

During the summer (June 2 - August 1, 2025) we open the St. Matthew Athletic Center for rentals Monday - Friday. 

We rent our facilities to incorporated sports organizations and 501c3 organizations and we require liability insurance coverage for the time the venue is being rented. Our insurance requirements are listed below.

A. Comprehensive General Liability Insurance. Lessee, shall, at its sole cost and expense, obtain and maintain in force for the benefit of Lessor and Lessee comprehensive general liability insurance in an amount of not less than $1,000,000 per occurence/$2,000,000 aggregate for bodily injury or death arising out of any one occurrence or property damage arising out of any one occurrence. Such policy shall be written by an insurance company authorized to do business in the State of Texas with an AM Best rating no less than A-VII. The policy shall name Archbishop Gustavo Siller-Garcia, M.Sp.S., St. Matthew Catholic Church and each of their respective members, partners, officers, owners, agents, employees, parents, affiliates, insurers, successors, or assigns as additional named insureds.  A certificate of insurance shall be delivered to Lessor a week prior before the commencement date of this Lease. A certificate shall contain (i) a statement of coverage provided by the policy, (ii) the listing showing Lessor (St. Matthew Catholic Church/St Matthew Athletic Center) as an additional insured, (iii) and a statement that the premium on the policy has been paid in advance.

Our rental rate is $85 per hour per court.
